Dorfromantik: The Duel maintains the core mechanisms of the Spiel des Jahres 2023 winner, but splits the play area in two. During the game, players will build two separate landscapes using two identical copies of each tile as it is revealed. By game end, two beautiful landscapes will have been created that will differ depending on how each player approached the strategic challenge.

Two new Task types are introduced: Double Tasks and Wraparound Tasks, each of which brings exciting new twists to building and scoring your landscape. Additionally, two new modules expand player options even further with Task cards and Points of Interest. These may be played independently of each other or combined for greater challenges, more variety, and increased interaction.

This game can be played on it's own, or use components in the form of 7 Task tiles and matching markers, 4 Achievement cards and Special tiles, plus a Photographer and camera markers as an expansion for the original Dorfromantik board game..

Dorfromantik – The Duel is designed for two players or two teams to compete against each other, and will easily support up to four players when using two copies.
