Over the years, Tolkien's masterpiece has existed in several versions as a role-playing game. The latest is called The One Ring and was first published by Cubicle 7, but has since been taken over by the Swedish Fria Ligan (Free League).
Here, the rules system from The One Ring has been adapted for use with the fifth edition of the world's greatest role-playing game, Dungeons & Dragons.
