Over the years, Star Wars has been released as an RPG in many versions, most recently by Fantasy Flight Games and their Genesys rules system, which has since been taken over by Edge Studio. Genesys uses rules mechanisms that are more reminiscent of board games, such as special dice and cardboard markers, but these are used to further the narrative elements of the game.
This latest edition of the role-playing game based on George Lucas' fantastic films comes in three different versions; Age of Rebellion, Edge of the Empire, and Force and Destiny.
