Special edition of Fluxx, which is a simplified version of the base game

This special edition of Fluxx is based on the base game but is somewhat simplified. Packaged in a top-loaded box (and not the usual two-piece) and simplified to contain just four of the basic card types (Keeper, Goal, New Ruler and Action), 73% of the cards are fundamentally unchanged from the current Fluxx 4.0 and Fluxx 5.0.

The most complex cards in the base game have been removed, and 11 cards previously found in other versions or as promo cards have been included. Here are 16 brand new cards, most of which are Goals that combine long Keepers in fun new ways.

Fluxx is a card game where the cards themselves determine the current rules of the game. By playing cards, you change many aspects of the game: how to draw cards, how to play cards, and even how to win.

At the start of the game each player has three cards and on a turn a player draws a card and then plays a card. By playing cards, you can set in motion new rules that change many aspects of the game: how many cards to draw or play, how many cards you can hold in your hand or have on the table in front of you, and (most importantly) how to win the game.
